marshall/eminem was born in 1972 and sadly before he was even 1, his father left him. Marshall lived in detroit when he was younger and his mother wasnt very nice to him. He dropped out of school when he was 14 and joined a rap group called D12.(D12 is made of 6 rappers: Proof1990-2006,Eminem,Bizarre,Kon Artis,Kuniva and Swift.) He released his first music when he was 14 as well and released his debut album in 1996 called infinite.(the songs on the album is: Infinite, W.E.G.O. Interlude featuring Proof & DJ Head, It's O.K. featuring Eye-Kyu, Tonite, 313 featuring Eye-Kyu, Maxine, Open Mic featuring Thyme, Never 2 Far, Searchin', Backstabber, Jealousy Woes II)Sadly, the album wasnt very big. But one day when the famous rapper, Dr.Dre, was clearing his garage out and found the album on cassette. He got curious of the cassette because he didnt remember buying it, so he put the cassette into a cassette player instantly thought "who is this?" He called up his manager and told him to get Eminem but the next day his manager called him back and said "you know hes a white guy, right?" And that completley shocked dre! Even though dre knew he was white he still thought em had loads of potential and decided to still bring him in.
On the first day em met dre dre brought em into the booth and said "I made this new beat, check it out" and played him the beats to my name is. after about a minute eminem started rapping and freestyled the entirety of my name is! at that second dre knew that this boy was going far...
